With the help of Boots the monkey and her ubiquitous Backpack, Dora the Explorer takes a dive and accepts an important undersea mission. Thanks to an evil octopus who insists on dumping garbage into the ocean, the Mermaid Kingdom is covered in trash. Now, it’s up to Dora to help Mariana the Mermaid find her missing magical mermaid crown. But the only way to accomplish the task is for Dora to become a mermaid herself!
