Expose your child to every kind of Engineering.  Opportunities to learn STEAM subjects are all around us – in so many things that we do.  Our goal is to help prepare your child for STEAM subjects.  We encourage kids to learn difficult subjects through exploration of sun, hands-on projects and experiments.  We help you move “beyond the book” and help your kids build a strong identity and connection to STEAM subjects through hands-on learning.

Robotics 101

The curriculum for the Robotics 101 program is designed to introduce students to both robot building as well as programming.  The students will build robots to accomplish a specific task while using their imagination to make their robot better than the basic robot.  During the class students will discover the Engineering Design Process in a real world setting as they test their robots multiple times.

Coding Video Games

Video games are everywhere and in almost every form you can imagine!  In Electronic Game Design: Ninja Attack!, we will create our own version of a Platform game set in a dojo that we will defend from a ninja attack!  We will use the Engineering Design Process to create a storyboard to outline the rules of play and characters for our game.  Then, we will use Clickteam Fusion 2.5® to bring our storyboard to life with programming.  At the end of the class, everyone takes home a working Windows compatible game.
