Aqua Yoga uses the principles, breath, and movements of yoga and adapts them for water.  The buoyancy of the water environment allows the body to move more freely and without stress and impact on the joints.  This freedom grants deeper stretches as well as opportunities to experience postures that may not otherwise be accessible on land.  Additionally, the natural movement of the water creates challenges, particularly while balancing, which require practitioners to activate stabilizing muscle groups, and ultimately to develop a stronger mind-body connection.  Perfect environment for individuals who are managing chronic injuries, arthritis, fibromyalgia, or anyone unable to bear 100% of their weight in exercise.  Excellent for fit individuals and athletes who are conscious of over-training.  A regular yoga practice has been linked to increased cardiovascular fitness, better sleep, improved mood, an decreased stress.  Contact Rashah Davis at 352-213-1143 or rashah.davis@gmail.com.  Visit our website at www.personaltrainerfishhawk.com.  Like us: www.facebook.com/personaltrainerfishhawk.
