Engineering Studio (Morning Camp)
Spend the week with Engineering For Kids at FishHawk Aquatic Club. Campers will learn about several fields of engineering in a given week and be challenged to use problem-solving, creativity, and often team-work to design and build. Instructors introduce concepts and challenges to students and provide materials for them to build and explore through a studio-like atmosphere. After they finish their project, campers will test and improve their designs. Engineering Camp is an opportunity to get your hands involved with something new every day.
Medieval Machinations: MinecraftEDU (Afternoon Camp)
MinecraftEDU is an expansive game that lets players design and create unique worlds with amazing structures. One of the more complicated aspects of MinecraftEDU is Redstone, which is MinecraftEDU’s version of electrical circuitry. This class will introduce students to the many uses of Redstone through a Medieval themed adventure of creation, exploration, and castle besieging, with students making mine cart tracks to help them gather resources, working together to build their kingdom, and designing traps to defend their castle, all with the use of Redstone.

The robot battles are on! This robotics camp is designed to introduce students to the world of not only building, but also programming basic robots. Campers will explore different ways in which a robot could be utilized to engage in various battle challenges. They will create, program, and control robots designed to perform challenges such as sumobattles, jousting, catapulting, and more! Campers will use EV3 Robots and computers to learn principles of robotics, software, and teamwork.
